1. What We Collect

When you use SANORIYAT, we collect the following categories of information:

• Account information you provide: name, email address, country, and phone number
• Profile information: display name, city, bio, and profile photo
• Cattery and cat profile information you publish, including photos
• Documents and images submitted for breeder verification
• Messages and communication records between users
• Reservation and inquiry records
• Platform usage events and audit logs (e.g., login activity, content changes)

2. How Your Data is Stored

SANORIYAT uses Supabase as its backend infrastructure provider. All data you submit — including account information, profiles, listings, verification documents, and messages — is stored on Supabase-hosted servers. Supabase is a U.S.-based company that stores data on infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

File uploads (cat photos, cattery images, verification certificates) are stored in Supabase Storage, which uses AWS S3-compatible object storage.

By using SANORIYAT, you consent to your data being processed and stored on these services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Create and maintain your account and profile
• Display your public profile, cattery, and cat listings to other users
• Process and review verification requests
• Enable messaging and communication between users
• Manage reservations and inquiries
• Enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
• Maintain security and audit logs for platform integrity

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Public Information

Breeder profiles, cattery pages, cat profiles, and marketplace listings that you mark as public are visible to all visitors of the platform, including unauthenticated users. You control what information you choose to publish.

Certain fields — such as your email address, phone number, and account status — are never shown publicly and are protected from unauthenticated access at the database level.

5. Verification Documents

Documents and images submitted for breeder verification are stored securely in Supabase Storage with access restricted to authenticated administrators only. These documents are used solely for the purpose of reviewing your verification request and are not shared with other users.

6. Authentication and Passwords

Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. Your password is never stored in plain text. Supabase Auth uses industry-standard bcrypt hashing and handles all password storage and verification securely. SANORIYAT does not have access to your password.

7. Moderation Records

If your account is subject to a moderation action (warning, suspension, verification revocation, or platform ban), records of that action — including the reason, category, timestamp, and administrator responsible — are retained in our database for platform safety purposes. These records are not visible to other users.

8. Your Rights

You may:

• Update or remove your profile information at any time through your account settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

Note: some records (such as audit logs and moderation history) may be retained even after account deletion for legal compliance and platform safety purposes.

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, publicly visible content (listings, profiles) is removed from public view immediately. Internal records including audit events, moderation history, and messaging records are retained for a period of up to 3 years for security and compliance purposes.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via the platform. Continued use of SANORIYAT after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
