Verification Policy
Effective date: June 2026
What is Verification?
SANORIYAT's Verified Breeder status is awarded to breeders who have submitted cattery registration documents and completed a platform document review. It indicates that the breeder has submitted the required documents and that those documents were reviewed by our team for legibility and basic consistency with the submitted profile.
Important: The Verified Breeder badge is not an endorsement, recommendation, certification, accreditation, or guarantee of any kind. It does not confirm breeder quality, animal health, pedigree accuracy, document authenticity, or transaction safety. SANORIYAT is a platform — not a regulator, certifier, guarantor, or endorsement body.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply for verification, breeders must submit:
- Public identity — a public Instagram handle or equivalent social presence showing the cattery
- Cattery registration — the registered cattery name as it appears on official documents
- Breeding certificate — a registration certificate from a recognised cat breeding club or registry (e.g. WCF, TICA, FIFE, CFA, or the Saudi Cat Club). The document must be legible and show the cattery or breeder name.
Review Process
After you submit your verification request, our team will review the documents within 3–7 business days. We may request additional information or clarification. You will be notified of the outcome through the platform.
Verification Statuses
- Pending — your request has been submitted and is under review
- Approved — your documents have passed review and your Verified Breeder badge is active
- Changes Requested — we need additional information before approving
- Rejected — the documents submitted did not meet our requirements; you may reapply
- Suspended — verification has been temporarily paused pending a platform review
- Revoked — verification has been removed due to a policy violation or misrepresentation
Maintaining Verified Status
Verified status may be suspended or revoked if a breeder is found to have:
- Submitted fraudulent documents during the application process
- Violated the Community Guidelines in a serious or repeated manner
- Engaged in misleading or deceptive practices with buyers
- Been found to operate in a way that endangers animal welfare
Appeals
If your verification is suspended or revoked and you believe the decision was in error, you can submit an appeal through your Verification page in the dashboard. Appeals are reviewed by our moderation team within 5–10 business days.
Document Privacy
All documents submitted for verification are stored securely and are only accessible to SANORIYAT administrators. They are never shared with other users. See our Privacy Policy for details.
